Kestrel & Rowe building
Since 1994

Thirty-two years of counsel, one standard.

A firm shaped by the belief that great legal work and genuine attention are not in tension.

Our Story

Founded on a simple frustration.

In 1994, our founders left a large downtown firm convinced that clients deserved more direct access to the people actually doing their legal work. Kestrel & Rowe was built around that principle and has never drifted from it.

Today we're a six-practice firm of 51 attorneys, still small enough that every client has a partner's direct line — and large enough to take on matters that used to require a firm three times our size.

What Guides Us

Four commitments we don't compromise on.

01

Direct Access

A partner leads every matter personally — never delegated past a point you haven't agreed to.

02

Radical Clarity

Fee structures, timelines, and risk are explained in plain language before you commit to anything.

03

Disciplined Preparation

We over-prepare for negotiations and trials alike — it's the single biggest driver of the outcomes we get.

04

Long-Term Judgment

We advise for the relationship, not the invoice — most clients have been with us for a decade or more.
